the item for production.
We are a virtual company - comprised of highly skilled individuals with
varying areas of expertise - loosely connected - yet working well together
as a team.
Grow with Raybeth and CAKOON - Sun UV Protection Products
We enjoy the benefit of meeting and working with partner companies and
people throughout the world - to not only accomplish our objectives, but
to assist those we work with to accomplish their goals and objectives
as well.
This journey includes the building and sustaining of rewarding, and
hopefully, long term working relationships with those we meet along the
way. For enquiries or further details contact - Raybeth

CAKOON UV Material
Many fabrics partially block the sun’s ultraviolet rays, but not
all fabrics block enough UVR (ultraviolet rays) to be classified as “sun
protective”. Our CAKOON UV-MATERIAL has been scientifically
developed and laboratory tested for a rating of UPF 50+, the highest rating
possible for a fabric. This means our material blocks 99.9% of both
UVA and UVB ultraviolet rays (UVR).
Not only has our material been tested for ultraviolet protection - but
also for water repellency and flammability. All claims concerning
the quality and features of our material have been validated by the test
procedures listed below.

UV Radiation - What makes an effective Sun Protective Hat or Clothing
garment?
Several factors determine how effective garments are at reducing UVR:
- Composition of the fabric: Different materials such
as cotton, polyester, and nylon have different natural UVR-absorbing
properties.
- Weave density: Less UVR passes through tightly woven
or knitted fabrics. As shown below the smaller the spacing between
the individual fiber strands the higher the protection.

CAKOON UV History - How We Got Started
Following the success of our UV-Brella - our customers began requesting
more products using our proprietary CAKOON material - and now we have
expanded our line of umbrellas to include a variety of styles and sizes.
We have added caps and hats to our product line and we will continue to
add additional items in response to our customer’s requests.
